Before you choose your focus areas, SecondLayer reads the document and identifies what it is — home insurance, employer liability policy, permanent employment contract, zero-hours agreement. Detection is automatic and takes a few seconds.

Based on what was detected, you're shown intents specific to that document type — not a generic checklist. For a car insurance policy: excess structure, exclusions, named driver rules.
